Questions

What's beneficial about ReadySet?

It takes 10 minutes versus several hours to install a doorway! Research indicated a need for installation to be faster and more accurate. Since ReadySet doorways are provided completely preassembled and fully-functional, many of the coordination and punch list issues that can delay a project are eliminated, greatly reducing installation time.

Does installing a complete doorway really take under 10 minutes?

Yes! Installation easily takes under 10 minutes once installers become comfortable with the process. For this reason, ReadySet makes great sense for buildings with many repeatable doorways.

Will there be one lead time for all doorway components?

Yes! Since ReadySet units are delivered complete and preassembled, once the order is placed, the customer receives a ship date and can rely upon that date to schedule the final installation.

Are custom colors available?

Yes. ReadySet frames are available in any Pantone or custom color, as are hollow metal doors. Wood doors are available in a variety of wood grain finishes; hardware comes in all standard architectural finishes.

How many installers are required and what special tools will they need?

Two workers are needed to install a ReadySet unit. Each unit comes with all screws and accessories; installers simply bring basic tools.

Where does ReadySet fit into my specifications?

ReadySet can be written into CSI (Construction Specifications Institute) MasterFormat '04, Section 08 17 00 - Integrated Door Opening Assemblies. This section of the specification treats ReadySet as an assembly, not a set of components. Our team of Specification Consultants is available to help with this and all of your specification writing needs.
